When it rains on your parade, sometimes it pours so hard that you feel like this time you are going to drown in your pain, loneliness, sadness…etc.  There are storms in our lives that sometimes just come so strong and constant that it feels like we will never see the light of day.   And during these storms in our lives the last thing we can think of is the rainbow that follows behind it.  In life we will face hard times and pain.  We will go through days that are just so overwhelming we feel like giving up or like we just aren’t strong enough to get through it.  God reminds us that after every storm there is a rainbow right behind that storm.  After every tear, there will be a smile.  After every heartache will come joy.  After every hardship there will come peace.  And in these moments where we are the weakest, it’s in these moments that we find our strength in God when we seek Him.  Call on God during your storms and watch how He clears the skies and calms the rains and brings the light and rainbows to comfort you.  Believe in God and what He can do for you.  He will be with you when you are standing in deep waters.  There was a time that I felt that my whole world was collapsing.  I felt as though things in my life just weren’t going to get any better.  I was ready to just give up on any hope I had left.  With everything I had in me, I prayed and cried out to God to lift me out of this storm I was in.  I was so overwhelmed and distraught that I felt no peace.  I’m so thankful that God stood there comforting me, reminding me that He would never abandon me.  God reminded me that I was the one that had turned away from Him but He had always been there waiting on Me.  Whatever your storms are that you are going through, know that as that rain continues to poor down, there will be an end.  That storm will calm and a beautiful rainbow will appear.  Be strong and know that God is there waiting on you to call on Him and trust him.  No matter how strong the storm…God will calm them down.
