Every love story is beautiful…but there is one far greater and more moving than another you have heard of.  Our love story.  The love between God and us.  This love is greater above any other.  A love that is never ending…a love that forgives despite the circumstance.  A love so strong, that no sacrifice was too great.  Especially the sacrifice of His one and only son.  How amazing is this!  To know that someone loves us so much.  In life, we seek a love so strong…a love so grand.  But we fail to realize that the same love we are seeking, we must also show to others.  We can’t expect someone to love us when we ourselves are too afraid to let our guard down.   We have a wall built so high, we start to panic the minute someone starts breaking it down slowly.  We build this wall to protect our hearts from hurt, disappointment and pain.  Imagine if God had built a wall just like us.  Where He couldn’t trust us enough to love us unconditionally.  Where He would always have a reservation about His love for us…constantly questioning it.  God loves us despite what we have done.  He gives us not just a second chance, but chance after chance.  I’m not a relationship expert, cause Lord knows I’ve had my own ups and downs.  But I thank God that despite the hills and mountains Rene and I have faced in the 25 years we have shared, it’s our forgiving hearts that keeps us together.  Despite any hurt and anger we gave each other chance after chance and trusted in God with our marriage.  God will never abandon you and His love last forever. He showers us with unconditional love and wants us to love each other as He loves us.  This isn’t a fairy tale love story…this is how God’s love is…an everlasting love.
