Good Morning and Happy Monday Everyone! Today has gotten off to a busy start for my week. I started making a To-Do List for work and next my personal To-Do List. With so many upcoming events, I try to get as much organized ahead of time as possible. Sometimes I pile it on and don’t realize how thick my pile is till I can’t even look up past the mountain of things I know need to be done. I am not good at delegating and take on more than I can handle at times.
My drives into work are my moments to sit quietly speaking to God in that hour plus traffic. Today I moaned and groaned about ALLLLL the things I HAVE to do. God helped me see that the season I am in, is my season to plant seeds. God has been preparing me for something great. But it takes work on my part. It takes me to delegate the things I know I can’t handle and give those to God, because I know He CAN. I need to loosen the reigns of trying to control everything and allow God to control those parts of my life. I need to make time to plant my seeds if I expect to have a great harvest. I need to nurture the seeds I plant, water them daily in order to get them to flourish.
Delegating can be difficult for you. But know that the moment you loosen those reigns and give some of your To-Do List to God. He will bring you relief and help you get through your list. He will give you the time you need to plant your seeds and spend time nourishing your crops. Before you know it, it will be time to harvest the bounty of blessings God has given to you. I pray that today as you begin your week, you take a moment to nurture your crops. Take out those weeds. Know that the hard work you put in during this season, will soon pay off when it’s time for your harvest.
