Good Morning and Happy Wednesday Everyone! As I studied the book of Exodus and learned how Moses’ insecurities were crippling his ability to trust in God, I thought of myself. Many times I find myself feeling just like Moses. Inadequate, Incapable, Unworthy, UNQUALIFIED! I forget how God is above ALL! I forget that if I just trust in God fully, God will supply ALL my needs. He will equip me with all the essential tools to fulfill the task at hand. I have to remind myself that I CAN’T always do it all on my own and I NEED Him. When we start to allow those feelings of being unqualified, inadequate, unworthy to settle in, we are essentially telling God, you can’t help me.
Let us change our focus from what seems impossible to what IS POSSIBLE! What is possible, is God CAN and WILL equip you and give you wisdom and knowledge, if you simply ask. Look at this verse and let it marinade in your heart for a bit. I know I have and boy did it truly touch deep down inside those deep seated seeds of insecurity that were planted over years. I want to tell you this morning, YOU my dear are QUALIFIED, ADEQUATE, CAPABLE, WORTHY, COURAGEOUS AND STRONG. Now go…and take charge of your day!
