Spring Is In The Air

Spring is in the air! Everywhere you look, new and beautiful flowers are blooming all around. This weekend I noticed my azalea bushes covered in little buds ready to bloom. These azaleas looked so sad and bare. I was sure they were overgrown and too old to bloom anymore. I am excited to see that although I couldn’t see the beauty anymore of these beautiful bushes, God showed me once again how in control He is. These bushes may have been bare and sad looking, but soon enough new and beautiful flowers will bloom.

Sometimes life seems a little sad and bare. Maybe things just aren’t going as planned. Those projects don’t seem to be getting completed. That goal seems too far off to obtain. That relationship seems too far broken to repair. You may feel like life in itself is just dull and lifeless.

Are you missing out on seeing that new thing God is doing in your life?

Have you lost sight of God’s goodness all around you?

Sometimes it’s difficult to see beyond what’s before us. Beyond our difficulties. But God tells us, “See, (LOOK, can you see what I am doing) I am doing a new thing!” (God is excited here when He says this). He goes on to say “Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (It’s coming, can’t you see what I am doing? Can you not envision my great works?) “I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (God tells us, He is creating a pathway in the middle of nowhere to lead you through that wilderness you are lost in)

God reminds us, there is nothing impossible for Him. He will provide when there seemed like no way. He will create opportunities and open doors that no one can shut or prevent you from opening. God is all about doing the impossible and blessing you with an abundance.

Look all around again. SEE the great and new things blooming right now in your life. SEE what is springing up around you. See, Spring is in the air.

“Thank You Father for all You are doing right now in my life. Although, I can not see the results just yet of Your great works, I hold onto Your promises to give me a life of abundance. I hold onto Your promises that new things are springing up all around me and You will make a way where no way seemed possible. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.”
